Chasing the wild goose
Let's say you want example.com to redirect to www.example.com. This is what you do.
- Put "example.com" in the "from" field and "www.example.com" in the "to" field.
- Tell your DNS provider to make an A record pointing example.com to "108.174.51.19". (For directions, search for "A record [your host's name]".)
- Wait a couple days for the DNS information to propogate.
After that, example.com will be forwarded to www.example.com.
